Premier volet d’une trilogie, les « Chroniques de Là où j’habite » sont une mosaïque de petites histoires et de portraits touchants du Grand Voisinage.
Du côté de chez Kwal, les destins cohabitent, se côtoient, parfois on s’aime-on se déteste. Les uns sur les autres pour le pire et le meilleur. Le voisin du numéro 3, méchant mais que tout le monde ménage : c’est qu’il a une maladie des méninges. Le voisin malien avec sa méthode surprenante pour se débarrasser d’un moustique amoureux. Des chroniques atypiques de toute une vie de quartier, contées, slamées, chantées. Un spectacle où la profondeur et l’humour se croisent en permanence.

The first part of the trilogy « Chroniques de Là où j’habite » is a mosaic of brief stories that narrate the world at large.
In Kwal’s neighbourhood, people rub shoulders, they like and loath each other equally, they cohabit, they meet, they separate. Globalisation, daily life, questions of the heart, all are to be found in these « chronicles » of unlikely neighbours, stories that are narrated, sung or told as slams.
With music’s passport, Kwal can travel anywhere. He gets his teeth into the world, captures images and stories from places near and far, describes universal emotions. His love of people, of all aspects of what’s human, encourage him to explore stories. To narrate the Human. Which is, in the end, to tell the story of himself.
All these stories from the world at hand or distant, come to life in « Chroniques de Là où j’habite », a performance in which the comic and the serious readily overlap.
